On this bulletin we will lay out results coming from our lab. In addition, we are going to provide definitions and divulge principles of storytelling for new media. These principles will include distinctions in production that define the playing field and draw what works from the old school while incorporating new school techniques. The ultimate outcome is to give you an edge on your next project.

Why? There is great power in stories, but it must be harnessed and used for good. The power extends from beliefs you have about the digital medium and decisions you make to apply it to your situation. Our goal is to make the process of creating content in the form of videos and other new media forms more clear, fun and rewarding. Yes, you can learn efficiencies, too. But who cares about faster if you’re not getting any fulfillment from the process nor engaging your audience?
